Among the best companies I have dealt with. Repair work and painting was done with care and attention to detail. The crew clearly was committed to fine workmanship.

I had a problem with four large picture windows leaking during heavy rain. One outfit wouldn’t touch it. Another outfit said the whole thing had to be rebuilt: $21,000. Another said I needed new windows: $6,000 (even though the windows are in perfect shape). Jonah at Chelsea Paint studied the situation and concluded the smart play was to clean off old caulk, leave existing weather stripping in place and simply go over all of it with new material. Cost: less than $1,200 for a day and a half of detailed work and all the materials. Honest and competent - what more can you ask for?

When you see as many 5 stars reviews as Chelsea Paint and Carpentry has, you probably think either they are spectacular or perhaps there was some review "padding". Let me answer this one for you: THEY WERE SPECTACULAR! Consistently excellent results, consistently conscientious (always wore booties when coming back into the house), very reasonable rate, on time, very personable. Simply 5 stars, no "padding"

Cody, Wayne, and Austin were a pleasure to work with. We completely trusted them in our home and could never thank them enough for their time and expertise. We are first time homeowners with an 1865 farmhouse. The age of the house and infrastructure can be challenging (to say the least). We had finish carpentry in 5+ rooms and a fireplace overhaul completed. The team worked efficiently and cleanly, trimming around unlevel floors, unique angles, and 150 year old floor registers. These guys went above and beyond in all aspects of their work. When we had a pipe leak upstairs, they worked around the plumbers. Cody would come early to catch my husband before work to answer questions. Austin sent photos as he was tiling to keep us updated on the look of our fireplace. Wayne actually caught the leaking pipe and saved us who knows how much in further damage. Our work came in as Jonah estimated and as expected. Communication was clear throughout. This was our first experience working with Chelsea Paint and Carpentry, but certainly not our last. We’ve found our “go to” team for many projects to come.

I strongly recommend Chelsea Paint & Carpentry. They did painting on the exterior of our house and drywall repair/painting on the interior. I'd consider this a large/complex project - 5+ weeks in total, scaffolding, etc. We felt totally comfortable having their team in our house often without us home. The entire team was very courteous and professional. I especially appreciated Jonah's advice at the beginning of the project which resulted in less work than I originally thought might be needed. When they found issues during the project (e.g., rotted wood that needed to be replaced - which Jonah warned us could happen), the team told us immediately and the additional work was very reasonably priced. CP&C will be my "go to" company for any paint and carpentry projects in the future.

We have had Chelsea P&C do several projects over the last 4 years or so. Extensive exterior work-siding and trim repair, rebuild stoops, interior painting and drywall repair, plus a variety of handyman door and window projects. Their bids are competitive, the work is very well done—their assessments of what was needed and options were clear, honest and more competent than we got from other bidders. Jonah Brown and his people are delightful, hardworking and accommodating. When work needed is outside what his company does those he recommends are equally good. I couldn’t recommend Jonah and CP&C more highly.

I needed repairs made after water from broken pipes damaged a wall and ceiling. Though not a big job, Chelsea Paint and Carpentry was willing to do the work. Their work was of superior quality, with attention to every detail. The work crew was professional, respectful, friendly, and very proficient. I would not hesitate to hire Chelsea Paint and Carpentry again.

This company is fabulous! I have an old home, c. 1900, that always seems to need some love, but currently needed some work done in 2 rooms. After removing the (layers) of wallpaper and paint, these guys expertly repaired damaged plaster, hung drywall as needed, and painted walls and trim. They even laid LVF in a closet so that it would match the rest of the bedroom. The results are gorgeous. And the costs were very fair. MOST IMPORTANTLY I felt completely safe with these men in my house, even when I couldn't be there myself. They were respectful of all surroundings, and of my time and comfort. They communicated very well and cleaned up as they went. I could not be any happier with this company. Jonah, Cody, Nate, and Kennedy (and the staff) are excellent crafts people and great human beings. I will certainly use them again.

These guys did a great job, exceeding our expectations. It’s nice to find a team of people who show up with a great attitude, clearly enjoy their work and who take pride in what they do!

Chelsea paint & carpentry is top notch! Nice straight lines went above and beyond repairing drywall before painting. Very professional friendly and respectful. I will definitely use them again
